Revit Architecture 2014: Selection Enhancements

Improved  control over the behavior of select element and links

Revit 2014 has introduced a few improvements adding to what has always existed. There are now four selection options, which can be accessed via the modify tool or via the status bar. Each option has two states, either active or in-active.

Click an icon in the lower right corner of the status bar. 

The Modify button on the Ribbon now has a new drop down list that provides check boxes for each of these new options. On the ribbon, under the Modify tool, click Select to expand the drop-down menu.
