Question

How can I cut abstract or any random shapes out off a curved wall in Revit Architecture?

Answer

Most online tutorials focus on straight walls. There are however, a lot of on-line video tutorials on conceptual massing and “in place” family creation.

Try the following:

If you create a "in place" family,
make it a wall category,
create a void,
then create any geometric shape you want that intersects the wall,
then you can cut the void out of a curved wall (using the "cut" command)....
and then finish the family.

If you are a beginner, you'll want to learn about creating basic geometry with extrude, blend, sweep, revolve and swept blend. Also, you may want to learn about choosing working planes for your sketches (using ref. planes or ref. lines).
