Coordination Between Revit 2015 & Civil 3D 2015

If you haven’t already noticed Autodesk released their Productivity Tools for Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 on Autodesk Subscription Centre.

Note: These tools are only available for Autodesk Subscription Customers.

If your working Revit 2015 you wish to coordinate your model with a site in AutoCAD Civil 3D. The Shared Reference Point gives you functionality to export known points and elevation from AutoCAD Civil 3D to an external file, in which Revit can import and setup a ‘Shared Coordinate System’. This enables the collaboration of exported RVT, DWG and NWC files back to AutoCAD Civil 3D and to coordinate models in Autodesk Navisworks.
