Here’s a quick tip on how to apply View Templates

Do you know you can apply your View Templates to All Views on a Sheet at once without having to select them one by one in the Project Browser. You could spend time scrolling up and down the Project Browser looking for the views you wish to apply the view template.

OR

Apply a View Template to All Views on a Sheet

To apply a View Template to all views on a sheet simply right-click on the Sheets, select Apply View Template to All Views

When the View template is applied in this way it applies the template properties to all the views currently attached on the sheet selected.

Note: When you assign the View Template this way it doesn’t assign the View Template to those views, it just applies it to them. So any changes to the view template do not affect the views.

If you apply a View Template to all the views on the sheet, you might want to make sure that all the views are of the same scale or don’t include the scale in the View Template.

Note: If any of the views already has an assigned View Template, then only the properties which aren’t controlled by the View Template will be changed.
