While training Revit last week a few of the trainee’s came across a small problem with Filled Regions. When they applied a filled region in a view it didn’t show the fill pattern and when they switched the pattern it only worked if they selected a solid black.
You can see from the two images below the one on the left isn’t showing and hatch at all but the one right is showing the diagonal crosshatch.
At first look I thought it was something to do with the Detail lines in the Visibility/Graphics, but that only controls if filled regions are visible or not.

I encounter almost similar but for the elevation view, Graphics Display > Model Display > Style change to 'Consistent Colors'
