Revit 2012 - Part Selection of Chain

One of the more insignificant but useful nonetheless parts of Revit is the ability to select part of a chain of walls or lines. Normally the tab function is used to select a chain of walls or lines and if some are not required, they are then deselected.

In order to partially select the chain, carry out the following:

1. Click on the first section of the wall
2. Hover over the section of wall you want to select up to.
3.  Hit TAB key.
4. Left click
