AutoCAD 2012 for Mac - Loss of Hatch Dialogue Box

AutoCAD 2012 for Mac users may experience the loss of the hatch dialogue box. 

From a recent technical support call, an AutoCAD 2012 for Mac user was experiencing problems with the hatch and hatch edit dialogue boxes, a possible solution is below.

Firstly check that all service packs have been installed, if the problem still exists the next step would be to reset the “AutoCAD Application Options”, this can be done via the “Reset Application Options” command which can be found in the “Applications Preferences” under “Applications”.
