Inventor 2014 - iLogic – Optimize Loop Length in Sketch – Improved

Hello again iLogic fans. Yes occasionally I have to post an apology blog, and it’s that time again…… You may recall I blogged some code to allow you to optimize the length of a loop in a sketch earlier this year. It’s been brought to my attention that there were a couple of important omissions in the code – It didn’t allow for circle in sketches OR construction geometry. Quite important inclusions I think you’ll agree.

So I’ve added these in and it works much more reliably now!

Just so you know – the code will now ignore any construction lines – which is probably ideal behaviour.
