I’ve put together a trio of short videos detailing a useful way of reliably adding custom iProperties to all of your Inventor parts (and assemblies) with an iLogic prompt form. Use this if you want certain non-standard properties in your parts list, or when exporting the BOM (to MRP system for instance). Of course – prompted entries are great, but you generally only want to be prompted once, not every time you save the part! I’ve included a ‘switching’ parameter that prevents the prompt from repeating. Check it out!
