Here’s a quick Productivity tip for people opening a lot of files from the Vault through Inventor

Something I do occasionally which can cause delays, is to click on the file open icon, instead of going through the Vault tab. The natural reaction to this is to close this box, and then click on the Vault tab, and to then open the file I want from the Vault.

A quicker way of going about this, if you do click on the normal file open, is to click on the Vault button on the Quick Launch section of the dialogue box.

You are now browsing the Vault.

Search and open files though the Vault integration.

One small caveat to this, is that you must be logged into the Vault, and Inventor must be set to a Vaulted Project file.
