3ds Max 2014 Civil View Error

Civil View is a useful tool that lets you place Civil items along a specified path within 3ds Max. It has been found that this feature has not been activated in the installer included in within Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium and Ultimate 2014.

When starting Civil View in 3ds Max, you may be presented with the following error message:

To correct this, Civil View can be easily added manually from your installation media, by running the CivilView2014.msi

If you have installed Building Design Suite 2014 from the downloaded installer, the default location should be as follows:

If you installation was carried out via a USB drive, the folder structure should be the same on the USB drive
