Autodesk's Vault support group have just posted a blog on issues with the Anti-virus program ESET NOD32.
Please read the following blog post. Hopefully some guidance as to the best setup of ESET will follow:
Performance Issues caused by ESET NOD32 Antivirus
We get more and more reports about customers that do have performance issues, instabilities in the Vault ,frequently errors which is caused by the ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
If you are using this Antivirus and have such kind of issues you need to uninstall the Antivirus on the Server and the Client in order to identify if the issue is caused by ESET Nod32 Antivirus.
Important: in all reported cases it was not enough to disable the Antivirus!
Solution is either to use another Antivirus software or work together with ESET to configure NOD32 that it works propertly together with Vault.
