Just a quick blog to share a great tip to help resolving Assembly Constraints in Inventor.
If you are trying to find where the problem constraints are, you can of course see this graphically, but with large assemblies this can be difficult. Here is the Tip!
In the Inventor Browser, simple change it from Assembly View to Modeling View
Your Inventor Browser now shows a folder at the top called ‘Relationships’
This lists all of the Assembly Constraints and you can easily now spot which Constraints are not happy.
Just Right Click them and you can easily Isolate and Edit the ‘sick’ constraints.
I have used this many times and after solving some Constraints, it even speeds up performance when the Assembly is happy.
