Civil 3D Survey – Import options

Why don’t I have the option to import or re import files to my Survey Database in AutoCAD Civil 3D?

Answer
It is possible to open a Survey Database for read-only and for edit. If you double clicked on the Survey Database instead of Right Clicking and choosing Open for edit you will be in read-only mode and a number of options will be unavailable to you, including the ability to import or re import files.
