Revit 2014 – Items not visible

I'm having trouble viewing items in Revit 2014.

Answer
You may have imported or simply opened a project in Revit and you know that a certain item should be visible, you have checked temporary hide and visibility graphics but have no luck.

If you still cannot view the item I would suggest going into your project properties and setting the discipline to coordination, the item you wish to view should now be visible if the previous methods had been exhausted.
