Remove extra riser from stairs in Revit

Question
When I draw a stair in Revit it appears to draw an extra Rider at the top or it won’t complete the last riser and tread. Why is this and can I change this so it shows correctly?

Yes you can change how Revit draws the stairs. Just follow the steps below:

If you have already drawn the stair select it and click on Edit Type in the Properties window.
Scroll down to Risers and un-tick End with Risers.
Click Ok. This should fix the problem."
