Simplest option is to double click on the attribute that requires editing, this will show the “Enhanced Attribute Edit” Dialogue Box with the selected attribute highlighted; the attribute value can now be changed in the field at the bottom of the dialogue box, once changed “OK” the dialogue box. However the “Enhanced Attribute Editor” does allow additional editing options for editing such as layer, colour, style etc. An alternative to this is the “DDATTE” this will just bring up a dialogue box showing the attribute textual fields. It is a type in command that may be added to the quick access menu"
