In my last blog, I covered the subject of how to ensure that any changes in your electrical standard mid-way through a project are passed to all existing drawings. This blog is a continuation of that subject whereby you can subsequently copy the changes in the electrical standards of a project back to the master default in the library. These updated library standards can then be copied back to any existing old drawings to retrospectively update or to ensure that any new drawings (ones that don’t contain a wd_m block) have the revised electrical standards without the need to check the drawing properties.

To update the electrical standards from your project to the default master in your library:

    1. Go into one of the drawings within your current activated project
    2. Select the Project ribbon tab > Other Tools panel  >  Update Symbol Library WD_M Block

Your library standards are now updated.
