Although you may have your own corporate template project that you use to create a project, the electrical standards defined for the project may change due to customer requirement or evolution of your own internal standards.

If you are mid-way through a project how do you ensure that the new standard is passed to all existing drawings?

The answer is very simple but often overlooked.

To revise the standards initially you can either do one of the following:

1. Right click over the project in the project manager > Properties

a) Change the standards accordingly

b) Highlight all drawings within the activated project using Shift & Ctrl

c) Right click > Properties > Apply Project Defaults

2. Right click over one of the existing drawings in the project > Properties > Drawing Properties

a) Change the standards accordingly

b) Right click over the drawing you have changed the standards > Properties > Settings Compare

c) Highlight all of the differences between project and Drawing using Shift & Ctrl > Select Match Drawing

d) Highlight all drawings within the activated project using Shift & Ctrl

e) Right click > Properties > Apply Project Defaults
