How can I turn off the “FILE TABS”?

Answer

The tabs can be turned on and off, by either selecting the “FILES TAB” icon in the “VIEW TAB” of the ribbon menu, or by adding or removing the check in the “DISPLAY FILES TAB” in the “WINDOWS ELEMENT” section of the DISPLAY tab of the “OPTIONS” dialogue box.
