A much overlooked object snap is snap to “NODE”, this can be used in conjunction with placing “POINTS” in the drawing using the “POINTS” command. The default setting for the “POINT” display however may be a little hard to work with, especially if “POINTS” are to be placed on an existing object, as the “POINTS” will appear as dots.
