AutoCAD 2013: What is ‘Annotation Monitor’?

Introduced in all versions of AutoCAD 2013 onwards.
‘Annotation Monitor’ is a new feature in AutoCAD that helps you keep track of dims which have become orphaned from objects they originally annotated. In other words it keeps ‘a check on the validity your dimensions’.
