How can I turn “Object Grouping” on and off?

Answer

Object grouping can be controlled either by using the key combination of CTRL + H which toggles “Pickstyle” on and off, and may also be changed in left hand side of the “Selection” tab in the “Options” dialogue box where there is a check box labelled “Object Grouping”. There is however more to this function, if the command “Pickstyle” is typed in at the command line the following options can be set :-

0 – No group selection associative hatch selection is set.

1 – Group selection.

2 – Associative hatch selection

3 – Group selection and associative hatch selection.
