Adding a Nozzle to an Equipment Item - Plant 3D

In Plant 3D, when I go to add a nozzle to an equipment item, I can't find one of the correct spec?

Answer

Nozzles are not piping spec dependent. You can choose any available nozzle to add to an equipment item. You can choose between metric and imperial nozzles by selecting either mm or in the Unit field in the Nozzle Dialog. If you cannot find the correct nozzle, you may need to create a new one. Nozzles are defined in the NOZZLE Catalog.acat file in the CPak COMMON folder under the AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 Content folder. The catalog may be updated through the AutoCAD Plant 3D Spec Editor.
