Creating a New Block-Based Part in Plant 3D

Question

I just created a new block-based part in the Plant 3D Spec Editor. When I insert it in to my drawing it does not change colour to match the pipeline. Why?

Answer

When you create the block, its colour property should be set to ByBlock before you convert it to a plant part. That way it will change colour with the pipeline in which it is placed.
