Saving the contents of paper space layouts - AutoCAD

I use multiple paper space layouts to display construction details; I'd often like to save the contents of my paper space layouts as separate drawing files...is there a way in which I can do this?

The Quick view interface provides a right-click function to Export the contents of a Layout to a new drawing...Effectively the edge of the Viewport acts as a clipping or trim object...Objects such as Text or blocks do not get trimmed however and will stick out of the frame produced in the new drawing. (The Quick View layouts also enable you to Plot or Publish the selected layouts directly, as well).
