Changing the appearance of the Ribbon - AutoCAD

Question

The appearance of the ribbon has changed and appears smaller with just the Tabs displayed... how did this happen and how I restore the full ribbon?

Answer

You may have earlier accidentally clicked on the Minimise Arrow on the Ribbon; It offers 3 minimise states for the Ribbon...thereby enabling a larger drawing area. This function is activated by an up-arrow icon which is located after the Options Tab above the ribbon; click repeatedly on this icon until the ribbon returns to its fullest format.
