Site Too Large - Revit

Question

Importing a CAD file as a site plan but a dialog box appears saying that the site is more than 2 miles wide.

Answer

In versions prior to 2011 has a maximum site size of 2 miles therefore the origin point will need to be addressed. In 2011 this distance has now be changed to 20 miles.
