Answer

3ds Max must be installed on the computer being used as the Backburner Manager. Once 3ds Max has been installed, you can successfully increase the timeout setting to a value greater than 600 minutes. Note: If you are submitting rendering jobs from more than one version of 3ds Max, you need to install each version on the computer being used as the Backburner Manager.
