Some fundamental menus have disappeared from my AutoCAD after editing the CUI file?

Answer

When editing the CUI file menus, toolbars, and commands should only be deleted from within a profile (on the right hand side of the dialog box), by deleting the ones on the left you are deleting them from the core installation on your machine. If you have done this there are two options, one is to copy the ‘.mnu’ files from another machine (ensuring they are using the exact same version) or repairing the software from the original disk. Please note that you MUST have admin rights to do this otherwise it may not install properly.
