Multiple Drawing Interface - AutoCAD

Question

Every time I open a drawing in AutoCAD it opens a new session. How do I force AutoCAD to open multiple drawings in a single session?

There is a system variable called SDI (this stands for Single Document Interface) the toggle for this is 0 off and 1 on
