Autodesk Recap is a very useful tool, to clean up, edit and convert point cloud data from raw data files into proprietary Autodesk formats that can be read by many applications including AutoCAD based software and the Revit family of products.

Symptoms
Autodesk Recap fails to launch project
or
Recap crashes on importing data
Typical hardware includes the Nvidia K2000/4000M GPUs, but similar problems have also occurred with comparable ATI hardware.
