Inventor 2014 - Complicated Patterns

Must users are fairly comfortable with patterning holes or features in rectangular or circular arrangements as this is something you learn on a basic new users course. But what if you want a more complicated pattern. Following certain workflows you can get Inventor to create complex patterns in any shape you want. One that often comes up in support calls is creating spiral patterns.

I recorded a quick video to show how you can easily create a spiral hole pattern around a cylinder, but the same process could be used to create your pattern along or around any shape. Click on the image below to take a look.
