Get your Vault 2014 Add-ins to show in your Application

If you have the Vault Client installed on your PC and the Add-ins are not displaying in your CAD or Office Application, the chances are the Vault Client was installed before the Application in question. The reason for this, is that the Add-Ins are installed for each of the product when the client is installed.

The problems, quite obviously is that if you install a product like Inventor or Revit after the Vault client is installed, you will not get the Vault Add-Ins. The fix for this is quite simple.

Close all of your open Programs

From the Control Panel, choose Add-Remove Programs

Locate the Autodesk Vault Client Application, Right Click on it and choose Uninstall/Change

From the Splash Screen, click on Add or Remove Features

 

On the Next Screen, simply Tick the boxes next to the Applications that you would like to have Vault Add-Ins for and then click Update

 

Job Done!
