Autodesk Vault 2015 – UI and File Formats

After working with Vault for some years now, every time I present it, I am surprised how everyone seems to think that Vault can only be used with Autodesk CAD products and files.

Following this, I decided to go back to basics and do a quick video on Vault’s user interface (browsing about) and showing various file formats. The ones I show are the most common file formats people use, but keep in mind that with Vault, you can put ANY file into the database and store it there securely.

Apart from the Autocad and Inventor files, I also show Microsoft documents, JPEG and PDF’s
