How do I open a Sketchbook Designer DWG in AutoCAD without it being blank?

If you create a file in Sketchbook Designer and save it the native file format is DWG, great you think but when you then try and open this DWG in AutoCAD it is blank. This is due to the DWG formatted for Sketchbook to preserve your layers. To be able to use your Sketchbook vector drawings in AutoCAD first you need to export them in the correct format. In Sketchbook Designer go to File > Export > Curves DWG. You can then export selected or all curves into a DWG for number of different AutoCAD releases. These new DWG files then open in AutoCAD with all your drawn lines but open in Sketchbook without all your layers preserved."
