How do I transfer a standalone license to another machine?

Answer

Since the release of 2010 products, all standalone licenses can be transferred using the License Transfer Utility. This utility checks in and checks out an available license (stored on the Autodesk servers) and can be accessed by clicking on Start > All Programs > Autodesk > Autodesk Product (e.g. AutoCAD) > License Transfer Utility.
