There’s plenty of information on the Google pipes for Inventor’s Task Scheduler. It’s an extremely handy and fairly easy to use tool built into Inventor for automating batch tasks (such as publishing to dwf, printing, migrating, converting idw to dwg etc etc). The F1 help files will get you most of the way to successfully automating your time-consuming tasks, but if you want to share your tasks with your colleagues what do you do?

Well it’s not difficult – your tasks are controlled by a Microsoft Access Database (.mdb) file that is located in the Task Scheduler folder on your computer when you install Inventor.

Just copy and paste these .ldb and .mdb files into the same location on another computer and their Task Scheduler will be able to view, edit and run the tasks. Simples!
