In previous releases of AutoCAD Electrical, when you wanted to copy a circuit from one drawing to another you would just use the standard windows command of Ctrl + C. This of course led to duplicate wire numbers, component tags etc. which of course was easy enough to fix but involved a re-tag of the components and a re-number of the wires. In AutoCAD Electrical 2015 there is an intelligent Cut, Copy and Paste command which understands what you are copying. Therefore when a circuit is copied, the paste of the circuit into another drawing will automatically re-tag the components and reset the wire numbers. This basically avoids the additional commands and the possibility of duplication of components.
These new commands are available from the Schematic ribbon > Circuit Clipboard panel
