Revit 2014: Complex Linetypes

In this White Paper we are going go through how to create complex linetype in Revit using a nested annotation family into a line based detail component.

So if you wish to  add characters (i.e. gas, elec, water, etc.) into the line types is something you can’t do directly in the line pattern properties.

An option you can use is to create a line based detail item family and nest a label family in.
