AutoCAD application failed to start

Answer

If AutoCAD ‘failed to start correctly’ this may be due to a conflict with an Adobe 9 component. This can be remedied by entering the registry and amending the following key from a value of 1 to 0:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion \Windows\LoadAppInit_DLLs
