A video about : AutoCAD Electrical - Pneumatic - Hydraulic PID Drawings

AutoCAD Electrical in theory should be called “AutoCAD Controls” or “AutoCAD Schematics” as it does far more than just electrical schematics. Single line, topology, cable block, overview, pneumatic, hydraulic, flow and P&ID diagrams can all be generated using the intelligent design software.

Out of the box, AutoCAD Electrical is supplied with electrical, pneumatic, single line, hydraulic and P&ID symbols sets but many of these are in imperial making the software seem unuseable in the European market for these disciplines. However download the Cadline Localiser and you have pneumatic and hydraulic libraries in accordance with ISO1219 and a P&ID library in accordance with ISA S5.1 and all in metric! Furthermore, the Cadline Localiser adds additional functionality making it easier for the pneumatic, hydraulic or P&ID engineers to access the commands they want more efficiently and therefore producing the relevant drawings far quicker with an easier learning curve to the software.

A new fluid course, only available from Cadline, is also available for your engineers. Please visit www.cadlinetraining.co.uk for more information.
