Question

Sometimes the hatching in my drawing displays and prints on top of the boundary objects that enclose them, spoiling the result...Is there a way to quickly alter the draw order of these objects?

Answer

Enter HATCHTOBACK on the command line; this selects all hatches in the drawing, including hatch patterns, solid fills, and gradient fills, and sets their draw order to be behind all other objects. Hatch objects on locked layers are also modified.
