I need to rotate objects but don’t want to keep calculating the angle involved. Is there a way in which I can rotate objects based upon a start and an end angle or by identifying another object which has the required angle?
Within the ROTATE command, there is a Reference modifier which is worth exploring. The Reference feature is useful when you know the start angle and know the end angleyou wish to finish up with. You can also obtain the rotation factor from other objects using a Points option.
