Undocking the Layer properties Palette - AutoCAD

Question

I have accidentally “docked” the Layer properties palette, covering most of my drawing area, unfortunately the palette is too big to drag it back towards the centre of the screen to undock it so what do I do to resolve this?

You can simply right-click the drag bar or title area of the palette and de-select “Allow Docking”
