Question
What is Construction Geometry used for?
Answer
Construction geometry is geometry that is considered fully parametric, however it does not take part in features such as extrusions. Construction geometry will be ignored when choosing profiles for features.
For example in the sketch below, a diagonal construction line was drawn to be used to locate the circle on its midpoint. The construction line (yellow) does not cause the selectable profile to be considered 2 separate profiles
