Orbiting Model Display Incorrect - 3ds Max

Question

When orbiting my model, objects become basic boxes and cylinders and I lose the integrity of the shape until I stop?

 

Answer

This is a function of max that helps to optimise the graphics card. If you want to disable this go to ‘view’ and un-tick ‘adaptive degradation’ this will then keep the object and materials whilst orbiting. Please be aware that the software may have turned this on for a reason!
