Inactive Gizmo - 3ds Max

Question

My Gizmo is no longer active. Originally it was Red, Green, and Blue when I select a transformer. Now it stays greyed out?

Answer

For Versions 2013 and earlier, There is a toggle to turn this tool on and off. Select X on your keyboard after selecting a transformer. You should now have restored its original setting. For 2014 onwards, select the move icon at the top of the screen, then select the item.
