PDF export fails with ‘Null Pointer’ error?

This issue will occur if an older version of the DWG to PDF.pc3 file has replaced the AutoCAD 2010 (or newer) version of the file. This can happen for example if the PC3 files have been migrated from a previous version of the installed version. To resolve this issue you need to replace the file. To do this type PLOTTERMANAGER on the command line, insert the DVD and browse for the following location ‘:\x86\acad\Program Files\Root\UserDataCache\Plotters’ (for 32 bit) and: \x64\acad\Program Files\Root\UserDataCache\Plotters (for 64 bit). Drag the DWG to PDF.pc3 file from the plotters folder onto yours and override the existing file.
