Bio

Hi, my name is Clint Brown, and I am the Technical Services Manager at Cadline

My day to day responsibilities include looking after the Technical team here at Cadline, as well as looking after Cadline Community and it's related Social Media presence.

I have quite a bit of CAD experience. I started my CAD Journey on AutoCAD Release 13, moving through the releases until I stumbled across a product called SolidWorks in 2000. I have also used Solid Edge and I specialise in Autodesk Inventor, which I have used since 2008. I am and Inventor Certified Professional. I also specialise  in data management software including Autodesk Vault, PLM360 & Cadline's V_Tools.

From a Manufacturing experience point of view, I have designed many products and machines over multiple disciplines. The bulk of my experience was gained designing fuel systems for the Motor industry in South Africa, key projects there being the design of Fuel tanks for Nissan pickups and designing the assembly line and delivery stillages for delivery of the tanks on time in sequence on the Nissan assembly line.

I have loads of plastics design experience, particularly in low pressure injection moulding and rotational moulding. Notable achievements being that I am a patent holder for a collapsible and adaptable packaging unit, which I developed in 2005/6.

Through my experiences designing in multidisciplinary environments, I have had exposure to most manufacturing techniques and have a broad knowledge of the manufacturing industry, which puts me in a great position to understand your business and help you solve your design problems.

One last thing... I once met Carl Bass (Autodesk CEO) At Autodesk university
